Uh...

I noticed today that the new aerial tram was having some... difficulties. It was basically stuck right near the arm-like pillar that holds it up, for about 30 minutes or so. It would move very slowly forward a little bit, then very slowly backward a little bit, then sit in the same spot. The rain and the wind werent helping, I bet.

You'd think that for $57 million we could get a tram that is, you know... functional. Speaking of, I was kidnapped by the elevator in my building at work today. I got in, pushed "1" and the elevator said, "Actually, you are going to 14, then 19, then 22, then 1, then 16 and Im not opening the doors ONCE." A small reminder that, when in an elevator, NO ONE is in control.

Has anyone noticed that cassette tapes have become completely obsolete? I suddenly feel old.

I have some good tapes at work. They're only obsolete to those that have lost faith. I like tapes. But not spending money on stupid trams. That sucks.

Tapes and 8-bit NES still rule, despite the dominance of PSIIIs and iPods. Slap a Minor Threat tape in your walkman, pull on your Cons, and hit the STREETS!!!

(Side note: when I was a kid, I was convinced that I was going to get trapped in an elevator and die of starvation. I'm glad you made it out unscathed.)

I agree. It was Suicidal Tendencies in my tape-player and for kicks it was whatever Wal-Mart had on sale at the time. I'll never get rid of my tapes. Now my tapeworms...that's a different question.
