Scott does defend my side of the debate as well, pointing out the fact that Rushs lyrics are predominantly geeky. To which I add, "geeky in a 20 sided dice way, not a cool Weezer way".
At any rate, it turns out that all I really wanted to do today is play with photoshop, making this:

It probably doesnt look like it, but much agonizing was done over this, unlike the first one I made for Chris, which seemed to just put itself together. But, the lack of flames in that one was pointed out, and I knows a challenge when I sees one. So, where to put the flames? I had an idea that the coffee cup could be flaming, and that would be kinda cool, but also kinda lame and Hot Topic-y. And we dont (openly) like things that are (too) obviously from Hot Topic. Then I thought perhaps the pin-up has flames tattooed on her body somewhere, but then, are pin-ups even allowed to have tattoos? Even though it would seem that any pin-up in Chris's house without tattoos would be absurdly out of place, this still wasn't the level of bad ass that I was trying to reach. I mean, have you seen the guy? He is pretty much tattooed-skin-covered-awesomeness. So, one has to come correct.
[side note: "Ice Dancers" (these are figure skaters that dont even throw each other around) are never under any circumstances, ever allowed to skate to Shine On You Crazy Diamond, or any other Pink Floyd, or otherwise rock legend, and it is worth the embarrassment to admit the fact that I was watching Ice Dancing just now to point that out. Ok, changing the channel.]
So when I came across the guitar in the picture, I knew I found exactly what I was looking for. I would say that clouds parted, the heavens opened up and angles sang, but I am my own worst critic and I tend to pick out stuff I dont like about everything I do.
Has anyone else noticed that the guy on "Con" (the new not funny and completely unrealistic hit series on Comedy Central), Skyler Stone, looks exactly like Bill S Preston Esq. from Bill And Teds Excellent Adventure? Weird....
