System Of A Down and Mars Volta tonight! eeeeeeee!

so uh, if you're really bored, check out this happy horse shit.. What a dick. For the first time ever I felt complelled to write a letter to the Mercury:

Dear Zac Pennington-
I hope you didnt lose your cool hipster/unique indie rocker badge for that article you wrote on System Of A Down, because it was bullshit. Those of us who were miraculously able to separate them from the hordes of goateed douchbags of the time, did so very easily because they had something the others obviously lacked: talent. (That first album is by far my favorite System album yet) And although they were both new and metal at the time, I never felt the need to apologize to anyone about them being "nu-metal". But, how could I have come to this conclusion so quickly? It must be my ability to openly appreciate good bands without worrying about who is being marketed or what my hipster friends would think. Im glad that you'll be enjoying the new album(s) now that the band has "indie-friendly" influences. If this was supposed to be a positive article about a band you supposedly "love", you should stop doing them any favors.
