I have been so incredibly busy at work lately, that I didn't even have time to notice the saddest news in show business ever until Pancho told me about it last night.
*sigh*
All the famous couples I really route for end up in splitsville. Its so discouraging.
Anywho. Chris mentioned the ultra smooth moves of the Sharks and the Jets in a recent post, and it reminded me of my recent experience with West Side Story. My mom and I saw it at The Gerding Theater, and the only thing more memorable than the awesome gang fight dance moves was the fact that I completely didnt remember the ending from when I had seen it as a kid.
In other, completely unrelated news, Pancho and I got flu shots today. My company offered to pay for everyone to get one, so I begged Pancho to come with me for moral support, and we got him one too. I kind of have mixed feelings about it because I cant remember the last time I actually got the flu; the vaccination isn't even guaranteed to work for shit, as it is only an "educated guess" as to which strand will actually infiltrate North America; and the flu shot gives you the flu! Well, the dead flu, but the flu nonetheless. But on the other hand, mine was free, and its better than getting the real thing. So now I feel like the lucky recipient of the dead flu and the mother of all dead arms. Yay!
Also, Happy Halloween.
