Shitty Politics and the Flood of 1996

Ok, so today is Election Day and I am a bit nervous. I really hope everyone voted, there’s a lot at stake. For example, Ron Saxton scares the shit out of me. So, I hope for everyone’s sake, you did not vote for him. I could probably spend all day talking about why he is bad, but I will only say this: immigration issues hit close to home for Pancho and I, and this guy has all the wrong answers. Kulongoski said it best (in a nut shell): children who are born in this country are legal American citizens even if their parents are not, and you cant just deport their parents and make them wards of the state, there has to be a better answer.
Word.

Anywho. This weather is killing me. Its only November and Im already done with the rain. A co-worker of mine said yesterday, “This is exactly how the floods of 1996 started.”

Sweet.

I live WAY too close to the Willamette to have this happen again. The last thing I want in my living room is all your guys’ shit. (Literally. Your shit.)

I love the rain. I'm sad that it stopped. Floods be damned. Although, I am scared to death of horrible, turbulent, foamy, rushing water...

Baby, people who aren't scared to death of rushing water cant be trusted. Thats just weird.

On a happier note, all this rain makes me want to just curl up on the couch with you and cuddle, so thats awesome. :)
