Its really strange when you genuinely care about your job that you can stay home sick and spend the entire morning worrying about things getting done. I was at home sick on Friday, yet I was on the phone until about noon with various co-workers making sure things were taken care of. I guess its what happens when you are an assistant to an entire department.
Anywho. Has anyone ever noticed that it is IMPOSSIBLE to leave Costco without spending a hundred bucks? Dont even walk through the door if you arent prepared to drop that kind of cash. Its just going to happen. Kelly and I have this long-standing theory that everything at Costco costs $10 (except the big ticket items); so, ten items, a hundred bucks. I dare you to try and get out of there with less than ten items. It isnt possible.
Also, why is it so expensive to play your Ipod music in your house? Have you seen what they are charging for the docking stations? Are they insane? Do they know what the fucking thing costs in the first place? Now they want me to drop another hundred bucks just for the pleasure of listening to it out loud?
Thanks Apple.
Pricks.
Yeah. Like I was saying, I got the new Mary J Blige album, Reflections - A Retrospective and its pretty damn good. You gotta love Mary. I remember being in elementary school and being in awe of her, and here we are some 15 years later and she's still crankin out the hits and hasnt aged a day. Some people just have it.
And speaking of having it, I picked up a Pilate's for Beginners kit over the weekend and realized just how out of shape and inflexible I am. Pancho and I gave the workout a try last night and while it was the quickest 40 minute workout ever, it was a pretty emotional 40 minutes. We laughed, we cringed, we were dizzy, Pancho farted (a lot). Afterward we both felt pretty good and I am excited about getting better at it. Hooray for being in shape.
This post is going nowhere.
The End.
