These are a few of my favorite things

I mentioned in my last post my love for mint tea. This inspired me to share a few other favorites:

MAC Lustreglass - Yes, some may say that $14 is way too much money to spend on lip gloss. For the most part, I would agree with them. But! This lip gloss is worth it. I promise.

Flowers - I dont recall ever seeing a flower I didnt like. Who doesnt love flowers?

Gewurztraminers and/or Reislings - A glass of one of these almost always sounds good to me!

My kitties - Obviously.

Modest Mouse - The Lonesome Crowded West and Moon and Antarctica are two of the greatest albums known to man. I love MM because I enjoy listening to them regardless of my mood. They have sappy, emo-y type songs; up-beat pop type songs; and angry rock type songs. Songs I dont immediately love upon first listen usually grow on me, and this means I rarely hear a song I dont like. I have 85 MM songs on my Ipod (and counting!) and I can put it on shuffle and listen for days and days. Man, I love those guys.

How to Marry a Millionaire - Unfortunately for Pancho, I could watch this movie every day of the week. I have the color version, and it is one of my very favorite girly-guilty pleasures.

The Marrakesh - My favorite restaurant in Portland (and possibly the world). Every course that comes to the table is delicious and my favorite entree' is the braised hare. I go here every year for my birthday and I never get tired of it. After the meal, the waiter will sprinkle your hands with this fabulous rose water (which will make you constantly smell your hands and say "mmmmmmm!" - this can be awkward outside the restaurant).

There are other things like chocolate, sunny days, butterflies, Hello Kitty and whatnot, but this list could literally go on for days. No one has that kind of time.
