The wind is shaking the windows on our building. I can see the windows on the building across the street from us shaking too. Being employed by an engineering firm, I should have more faith in the design and work of man, but sitting at my desk 18 floors up inside a trembling glass and steel cage is a bit unsettling.
Anywho. Now is the time of year for employee reviews. The way it works here is that you basically write reviews for select co-workers, then you write one for yourself. I like to really lay it on thick. I've learned from past experience that being honest about shortcomings only hurts you in the end. So I just lay it on as thick as possible and I do the same for my peeps. More money for everyone, I always say! Hopefully management feels the same about me. Cause in this day and age, a girl can always use more money.
