And now for something completely different

A couple of random things have been on my mind:

  • I am slowly becoming a living cliché. Cash turns 7 (!) this week and I've come to find that all that shit your parents say (like "They grow up so fast") isn’t just to annoy you, its actually true.

  • I've been bringing it up a lot lately, but the fact still remains that I am getting old(er). Saturday I went to pick up my homie Derek and his son Damien for a little pre-birthday celebration and play time. We got about 3/4 of the way to my house and I had to interrupt our conversation to point out that we'd been talking about bills, insurance and taxes the entire car ride. Now, Derek and I went to high school together, so this was a drastic evolution in conversation topics for us. We had a good laugh at ourselves but secretly I think we both felt a little depressed at that point.

  • WHO is it that sends all this spam all the goddam time?! I mean, who does that? Do they actually think it works? Its not like junk mail where you will actually use a coupon from time to time, and most of the time it isn’t even coherent! What’s the point? To spread viruses? Why even do that? We can’t even let each other use our computers in peace? What makes a person want to sabotage computers at random? What the hell purpose does that serve?

  • Idaho drivers are the worst on the road. Seriously. If you see someone doing something completely retarded on the road, check the license plate - it’s definitely Idaho.

All valid points, as ever, but I'm most interested by the Idaho drivers assertion - I had always noticed Washington drivers sucking real bad, and it looks like they may have some competition now!

Yeah. By biggest beef with Washingotn drivers is that they hang out in the "fast lane" for no good reason - and certainly not because they are going "fast". Its true that Washington drivers are terrible, but Idaho has them beat by far. Its as though they just hand out licenses there.
