So I dont know if you've heard, but Portland is under about a foot of snow for the first time in like 30 years and it has been for the past week. This was cool at first but now its just aggravating and annoying and a pain in the ass. (was that redundant?)
Ive been unable to move my car since Saturday and will be unable to move it until at least Sunday. Its Christmas Eve and Ive done no shopping. I have no idea how Im going to get out to my moms house in Gresham and all I want is to be able to leave this fucking apartment and go shopping and get to my moms. Is that too much to ask? Apparently so.
The bright side of this is the fact that I was lucky enough to be snowed in with one of the prettiest boys in town and my Christmas present from him was a shiney new pool cue AND I happen to live within walking distance to my favorite bars to break it in at. So its not all that bad. Im just ready to have a transportation system back now.
The city is sold out of chains, but as soon as there are some in stock I am definitely buying a set. Even if I only use them one day a year, I do NOT want to be stranded like this again.
