Yep

Its almost my birthday again. It comes around pretty quickly each year! This year Ive decided not to plan anything, and to just have dinner with my family and a few drinks with friends over the weekend. PCC was kind enough to give me a teacher in-service day on my birthday, which also works out to a 4 day weekend. So that was super nice of them.

My new laptop came. I am super excited about it.

Isnt it cute? I like it.

Gah. Im having a really hard time not talking about boys on here right now. But why shouldnt I? Right? I mean, this is my damn blog and I'll say what I want.

So I like this boy. Ive mentioned him on here a couple times. Ive had a crush on him for a year or so and he's been helping me at pool. I love that he's a pretty big dude, is rockin the whole bald/muscular/heavily tattooed look, and is really just super sweet and a total gentleman. He sends me the cutest texts. Also he lives like 3 blocks away from me which is totally dangerous and way too convenient.

Plus hes an amazing pool player, is really smart and is an excellent kisser.

He plays on a mens baseball league and Im thinking that I could maybe get down with watching some baseball for the first time ever (Ive never liked watching baseball. Even as a kid, when my mom would take us to Dodger games, I mostly just liked the peanuts and hotdogs and people - not so much the boring ass baseball game that was going down). But, if he's playing, Im sure I could be interested. :)

So, nothing new. I like a boy. As usual.

The thing about watching baseball: it's kind of the ultimate beers + friends laziness sport. It's only fun to watch if you have those two elements involved (the "bases covered," so to speak.) In those circumstances, however, it is totally rad.

I like a person too. (If he's 40 and does not have tattoos, he isn't a boy, no?) It's horrible. And good. Because I am shaving moisturizing and cleaning my house even though I can't say when I'll get to see him again and it seems he has some kind of grilfriend. Yeah it's horrible. I'm also trying and failing to recruit Mets fans. For the stadium experience. i.e. getting sun, drinking beer, learning about a team for the span of those hours I'm at the game and then forgetting forever - no room for baseball in this thoughtful pretty head!

Ha! Indeed! If I were a New Yorker I would totally be a Mets fan with you. Or a fan of going to the stadium, anyway. Have you ever noticed how almost ALL pro baseball players have bubble butts? That is probably my favorite part of baseball.
