So, I was given some food for thought today in the engineering lab at school when I made a joke about dropping out and working at McDonalds. One of my classmates was like "Uh, have you never had a shitty job before?" and I said "Oh. Ive had my share of shitty jobs" and he says "Well so have I and I would rather do this than work a shitty job any day of the week." And I was like "Touche'." I got to thinking on the drive home that my perspective on school has been all wrong recently. Yeah Ive bitched and moaned about the amount of homework I have (cause it is a lot) but at least Im not working at some god-awful dead end job for some asshole that I hate and not going anywhere with my life. All of my hard work in school is going to pay off with a job I (hopefully) love, doing things that interest me and make a positive contribution to society while affording me a comfortable living. Thats all a girl wants! (Well, thats all this girl wants, anyway.)

She and me can't ever be right. When in doubt, take out the other person and it'll sound right or wrong, and you'll know what to do. She and I went to lunch. Me never goes to lunch. Only I do. He brought melon cocktails to her and me. He does not bring cocktails to she and he does not bring cocktails to I. I can't think of an exception to these words of truth I bring you.
I think it's really wonderful that you are studying to be an engineer and it will lead to you calling the shots in an arena in which you rule. Sarcastic jokes about just quitting and working at McDonalds can feel good though. But it's true that you getting all degreed up is a really good thing.
Thanks pretty lady! Thanks also for the truthiness of this comment, proper grammar kicks ass!
