Viva!

So, Im going to Vegas with my mom for Memorial Day weekend. The trip sort-of fell into my lap when one of my moms friends was unable to go, and this is extra cool because I wouldn't be able to take a trip right now otherwise. I have very limited funds, but I am super excited anyway. For me, Vegas has never been a very expensive destination as I am easily amused by all of the sparkly lights and beautiful decor, which are about the only thing thats free. Growing up, my brother and I visited Vegas a few times a year with our dad and grandparents, so I dont have that sensory-overload, first-time-Vegas-trip shock. When I think of things I love about Vegas they are usually the same things I loved about it as a kid. The free pirate ship battle outside Treasure Island, the ceilings in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, the fountain shows at the Bellagio and the Mirage, and walking up the strip looking at all the amazing hotel fronts.

This time I hope to see a few hotels I havent seen yet, play a hand of blackjack, have dinner here, avoid a sunburn and have a great time. Also, it would be great to see Tom Jones but Im not getting my hopes up.
