The Blazer game last night was pretty excellent. Just wanted to get that out of the way.
Its a shame that I feel like blogging less because I do so much homework (and it often requires writing some shit I dont even want to write). I was telling Garnett the other night "I am so glad that my drafting class never has homework, otherwise I think I'd be overwhelmed" and then I went to that class the next day and the teacher assigned homework.
Im really glad that I jumped full force into school, but I think I misunderestimated (to quote Bush) how much damn work full time schoolin' is. Unfortunately, after sitting in class all day, the last thing I want to do is go home and do homework, but what I want less than that is to fall behind. So, Im doing some sort of homework every night.
Then my damn speech teacher rambled on for about 15 minutes longer than our class is scheduled, looking indifferently at the clock the entire time and making no effort to wrap things up quickly. She'd said that her biggest pet peeve is when students watch the clock and begin to gather their things before she's finished lecturing, but why is it ok for her to disrespect our time? I mean, it isnt that big of a deal to me, but some people have to get back to work or pick their kids up from school or whatever else. Its the principal that she wants her time respected but isnt willing to respect ours. Also she doesnt seem to be a fan of being wrong. Or people insinuating that shes wrong.
I suppose these are things Im going to have to get used to quickly.
I emailed my first AutoCad drawing to one of the drafters that I used to work with and asked her not to laugh at it. She did. Thats ok though, it must have looked like a finger painting compared to the stuff she masters all day. Its awesome to already have my first drawing only 2 weeks into school though. Also, my drafting class has been getting steadily more challenging and that is awesome too, as most of my other classes bore me to death half the time.
I write like shit when Im listening to headphones. Too much stuff competing for attention in my brain all at once. Hmm.
Anywho, kids. Time to get to class.
